The hospital also offers world-class orthopedics, minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery, lifesaving emergency care, stroke treatment, labor & delivery, and so much more Responsibilities The Critical Care Educator is a valued member of the staff development team. Their clinical expertise is utilized when initiating new programs within the Alliance. The focus of the Critical Care Educator is the education of team members at the bedside, caring for patients. The Critical Care Educator collaborates with directors and staff to facilitate programs that are needed within the organization. This is a Full Time, Day Shift position eligible for a sign-on bonus. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree from accredited nursing school required Master’s Degree required (MSN, or M.Ed.) If enrolled in MSN or M.Ed. program, must complete degree within one year of start date Licensure/Certification/Registration Florida Registered Nurse License Basic Life Support Instructor, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor (All instructor certifications will be given 6 months to complete). Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required Preferred Nationally Recognized Certification in Critical Care preferred such as CCRN or CEN. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Minimum of 5 years in critical care areas of hospital including ICU, CCU, Cath Lab, ED, or any other critical care area. Preferred Cardiovascular (Open Heart) ICU experience
Responsibilities
The Critical Care Educator is responsible for the education of team members at the bedside and collaborates with directors and staff to facilitate necessary programs within the organization.
