Description

Take responsibility for the clinical leadership and direction of the critical care team Undertakes and documents a comprehensive, systematic and accurate nursing assessment of the patient as appropriate Deliver a high standard of care based on best practice to maintain patient safety and provide a good patient experience. Creates and utilizes opportunities to promote health and well-being of patients in their care To undertake clinical shifts within the outreach service, identify, assess and manage a caseload of patients who are deteriorating or who are at risk of deteriorating. Recommend interventions to optimise patients care, obtaining medical support as required. Support staff that are caring for patients awaiting transfer to a critical care bed.
