In addition, UnityPoint Health - Sioux City is also home to St. Luke’s College which provides high-quality, health system-based education to individuals looking for careers in health care. Closed ICU Specialists include: Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Nephrology, General-Trauma Surgery, Ortho, Urologogy, GI, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, Neurology, and more. 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for inpatients Overnight support from APPs Responsibilities Average of 8-14 patients per day On-site 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with overnight call from hom 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Full-time is 182 shifts per year Flexible scheduling available ( 7 on 7off, 10 on 10 off) Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills Qualifications MD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt) J-1 waiver sponsorship available We offer Salary guarantee Attractive incentive package A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in. Responsibilities

The physician will evaluate, interpret, and coordinate information to make decisions regarding patient care. They will manage an average of 8-14 patients per day and participate in a 24/7 hospitalist program.
