SUMMARY:

The CRM and Admissions Coordinator at East Texas A&M University (ETAMU) serves in a professional capacity to lead the administration and strategic management of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform supporting competency-based education (CBE) programs within the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, part of the College of Education and Human Services. This role is also responsible for coordinating and optimizing the admissions and onboarding processes for prospective students across all CBE programs at East Texas State University, with a primary emphasis on the RN-BSN CBE program. The Coordinator ensures an effective and student-centered admissions experience through proactive engagement, process improvement, and collaboration with internal stakeholders. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Three years of related experience with administration of databases. Knowledge of CRM software. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:

Experience with competency-based education and university admissions processes. Basic understanding of RN-BSN degree programs.

Responsibilities
  • Oversees and manages the CRM platform for Competency-Based Education (CBE) programs within the College of Education and Human Services (COEHS), ensuring optimal configuration and data integrity to support strategic enrollment initiatives.
  • Advises and supports prospective and current students through the admissions and registration process, applying institutional policies and professional judgment to guide complex cases.
  • Leads student engagement efforts by developing and executing proactive communication and outreach strategies designed to improve recruitment, conversion, and retention outcomes.
  • Serves as a primary liaison between students and institutional support services (e.g., Financial Aid, Scholarships, Disability Services), ensuring seamless referrals and integrated student support.
  • Manages and maintains student data within institutional systems, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with reporting and compliance standards; identifies and resolves discrepancies independently.
  • Analyzes workflow and operational processes and presents data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency, enhance the student experience, and support strategic goals.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with academic departments and administrative units to design and implement strategic initiatives focused on student success and institutional growth.
  • Prepares and delivers bi-monthly analytical reports to the Dean of COEHS, offering insights on enrollment trends, admissions funnel performance, and communication effectiveness to inform decision-making.
