Job Description As a CRM Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering automated, data-driven lifecycle marketing strategies that maximise customer value and drive commercial performance. You will own the design, execution and optimisation of customer journeys across the lifecycle, leveraging modern CRM platforms (e.g. Optimove) and decisioning capabilities. This role goes beyond campaign execution — it is focused on orchestration, automation and continuous optimisation. You will lead a small team, drive performance improvements, and ensure CRM is operating as a scalable growth engine across multiple brands. Ultimately, your role will contribute to building strong customer relationships, improving retention and reactivation, and delivering measurable business impact. Qualifications Essential Proven experience in CRM / lifecycle marketing (typically 5+ years), with a strong focus on automation and performance optimisation. Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Optimove, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar). Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Demonstrated experience driving commercial performance through CRM (retention, reactivation, revenue uplift). Strong understanding of customer journeys, lifecycle management and personalisation at scale. Experience working in fast-paced, multi-brand or high-volume environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across different levels of seniority. Desired Experience within online gaming, betting or similar industries. Understanding of incrementality measurement, testing frameworks and control group methodologies. Familiarity with real-time CRM and event-based marketing. Basic technical understanding (HTML, data structures, CRM tools). Experience managing and developing teams. Degree in Marketing or a related field. Lifecycle, Automation & Decisioning Design, implement and optimise automated, always-on lifecycle journeys. Leverage CRM platforms (e.g. Optimove) to deliver customer-level decisioning and prioritisation. Drive a shift from manual campaign execution to automation-first CRM delivery. Implement and optimise real-time and event-based communications. Ensure effective contact strategy and customer experience management across channels. Drive scalable personalisation through dynamic content and segmentation frameworks. Marketing Execution & Performance Own end-to-end CRM performance across channels (email, push, onsite, etc.), ensuring delivery against commercial targets. Ensure high-quality execution standards across audience selection, creative, and proposition. Oversee campaign tracking and measurement frameworks to ensure accurate attribution of CRM activity. Lead regular performance reviews (weekly/monthly/quarterly), providing clear insights and actionable recommendations. Present CRM performance and optimisation plans to senior stakeholders, including Head of CRM and P&L owners. Ensure all CRM activity is compliant, responsible and aligned with regulatory requirements. Experimentation & Optimisation Own the test & learn roadmap, embedding a structured experimentation culture. Design and implement A/B testing frameworks, including control group methodologies. Measure and optimise for incremental impact, not just engagement metrics. Translate insights into scalable improvements across lifecycle journeys and campaigns. Innovation Build and maintain strong relationships with CRM and technology partners (e.g. Optimove and other vendors). Collaborate with technology and data teams to enable new capabilities and integrations. Lead delivery of CRM innovation projects (e.g. automation, data-driven creatives, new channel adoption). Drive adoption of new tools, processes and ways of working across the CRM function. Additional Information People Management Manage and develop a team of approx. 1–5 CRM professionals. Coach and mentor team members to build expertise in lifecycle marketing, automation and optimisation. Identify skill gaps and implement development plans to strengthen team capability.
