WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY We are building up our CRM team that can think strategically and act swiftly. It’s a role where you will be using data, tech and user psychology to help people learn music! CRM team is responsible to drive 3 key areas for Yousician apps: Activation: How do we help users who download our app to set up, and start their learning journey. Nudges are critical to ensure new users get over the friction of learning something new. Engagement & Resurrection: Once active, what are the effective levers that CRM can use to engage our audience? Fresh content, Practice reminders, etc.? How do we ensure we can do this in an automated and scalable way? Monetisation: How can we showcase value and nudge our free users to take up a paid subscription. How do we tackle upsell? How do we treat and talk to the users who just cancelled their subscription? Like many subscription apps, we have high seasons and seasons discounting campaigns - you will be responsible for creating and testing CRM comms that drive business impact. In order to improve the key areas, you’ll be working alongside product, data, marketing, and creative teams, with a direct impact on the growth trajectory of one of the world’s most beloved music apps. WHAT YOU WILL DO Lifecycle Marketing & CRM Strategy (50%) Own end-to-end lifecycle strategy and execution. Use Braze platform to its full potential: segmentation, triggers, A/B testing, dynamic content. Build and manage comms frameworks that scale: modular content blocks, audience logic, personalization layers (connected content) Help us develop a CRM playbook with learnings and best practices on what activates, engages and nudges users to subscribe. Set a roadmap for comms that drives measurable business outcomes. Performance & Optimization (30%) Define and track performance KPIs: open rate, CTR, conversion, retention, ARR impact Run experiments to improve email/push/iAM performance Partner with Analytics to understand segment behavior and churn risk signals and get ahead of risk of churn User & Product Insight (10%) Stay close to the user: dig into usage data, support tickets, interviews, and feedback, and be intimate with the product and roadmap Cross-Team Enablement & Brand Stewardship (10%) Work with Marketing, Product, and Support to ensure lifecycle messaging is consistent, helpful, and valuable for our users. Maintain a scalable voice and tone guide for lifecycle comms - standardizing our language and positioning in a framework that scales across channels Ensure internal teams have visibility into what's working and why. We expect you to be proactive about raising issues, blockers and opportunities. Some Tools you’ll use Braze Notion Confluence JIRA What Success Looks Like You can develop a playbook for what drives new users to activate, existing users to engage and how we can effectively monetise our growing user-base. CRM messaging is targeted, personal, and optimized across every funnel stage Product feels more usable and intuitive because the messaging primes users and fills the gaps Users actually want to open our emails and notifications. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED You Might Be a Fit If… Already worked with Braze for 2+ years. Braze Certification Completed. You’ve built or scaled a high-performing lifecycle or CRM program before (bonus: in B2C subscriptions) You are a communicator and rely on documentation to ensure the team is on the same page and well informed. You have strong technical fluency in tools like Braze, Iterable, or similar. You think in systems, love to optimize, and aren’t afraid of spreadsheets or data dashboards. You bring clarity, momentum, and a low-ego, high-ownership approach to cross-functional work.
