We are seeking a talented CRM Manager (Retention Marketing) to join our dynamic team in Berlin.
As Marketing Automation & CRM Manager, you will leverage your expertise and lifecycle management skills to build, optimize, and scale high-performing automated messaging campaigns across multiple channels (email, push, in-app, SMS/WhatsApp). You will play a key role in personalizing customer journeys while continuously improving campaign performance through automation, data insights, and A/B testing.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation, ideally in a FinTech, SaaS, or digital B2C environment
  • Proven experience with leading CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Blueshift, Braze, Brevo, HubSpot or similar)
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, audience segmentation, lifecycle management and campaign personalization
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns accordingly
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, AWS QuickSight, customer data platforms (e.g., Segment) and experience with SQL is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of HTML for email and a strong eye for clean, user-friendly design
  • Structured, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent project management skills
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Passion for FinTech is a plus
  • Fluent in German (C2) & English

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage automated campaigns using Blueshift (Segment/Twillio) to drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth
  • Plan, build, and optimize multi-channel campaigns (email, push, SMS, in-app) including audience segmentation, trigger setup, and A/B testing
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance lifecycle strategies, and boost overall efficiency
  • Own the end-to-end campaign execution process in collaboration with Product, Data, and cross-functional teams
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, gather actionable insights, and continuously refine automated marketing flows
  • Use segmentation tactics to deliver tailored, data-driven customer journeys and sales-driven communication
  • Contribute to CRM strategy development by defining technical requirements and integrating new automation capabilities
