The Office of the Registrar at SAIT is an essential part of the student journey, the front line of student support from admissions to convocation. We are committed to informing and assisting our current and future students from initial inquiry through to graduation and employment.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE



    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

    • 3-5 years as a Business Analyst, preferably in a post-secondary environment.
    • 2-3 years working with Slate (Preferred)/other CRM systems.
    • CBAP/PMP is an asset.
    • Strong relationship building and relationship management skills.
    • Proficient with database applications and effective use of relevant business systems and tools, for reporting purposes.
    • Strong communication skills. Capable of explaining complex technical matters to non-technical users.
    • Must be very detail-orientated, organized, be able to prioritize, and multi-task a variety of tasks.
    • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

      Salary Range: $80,000 - $87,000
      Paid Leave: 4 Weeks Vacation / 14 Flex Days per year

    Responsibilities


      • Slate CRM:

      • Lead OTR Slate technical and business process sustainment initiatives.
      • Create Slate configuration training documentation including written documentation, video training recordings, etc.
      • Design, build, and maintain Slate ticketing system (implementing a ticketing solution available directly in Slate, as well as setting up a Jira board for larger initiatives).
      • Design and maintain reporting for Slate sustainment measures to clarify ongoing task completion and maintenance resource requirements.
      • Maintain Slate user permissions.
      • Keep up to date on Slate webinars, community forums, etc. to identify newly released features and Slate community innovations.
      • Act as the OTR SME in cross-divisional Slate technical meetings.
      • Support external divisions with Slate configuration training (e.g. train staff to build forms, queries, reader views, workflows, portals, etc.).
      • Collaborate with ITS staff to support Slate integrations (Boomi, Automic).
      • Identify and support opportunities for improvement to integration configuration.

      Data & Reporting Analysis:

      • Analyze institutional data to support operational decision-making within the Office of the Registrar.
      • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using institutional data sources.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
      • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across reporting systems.
      • Support data governance initiatives and compliance with institutional data policies.
      • Assist in the development of predictive models and trend analyses.
      • Provide training and support to staff on data tools and reporting best practices.
      • Document data processes and maintain data dictionaries as needed.
      • Work with ITS and other departments to improve data integration and accessibility.
      • Contribute to departmental planning efforts through data analysis.
