Position Summary The CRM and Sales Analytics Senior Analyst will play a critical role in enabling Huron’s sales organization through data-driven insights and reporting excellence. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining Salesforce CRM Analytics dashboards, Power BI visualizations, and Excel models that drive sales forecasting, performance measurement, and executive decision-making. The analyst will translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and deliverables — including executive-ready PowerPoint reports — that support the Growth Enablement Teams (GET) in achieving sales goals. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing accuracy with quick turnaround, and is motivated to continuously improve reporting processes, tools, and analytics capabilities. Responsibilities The expectation of a senior analyst is to be able to execute tasks and projects with guidance and direction from GET leadership. Successful candidates can manage and complete multiple projects and perform the following activities: Sales Data & Insights Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, partnering with sales leaders to ensure alignment with business goals and market dynamics. Provide actionable insights that inform sales strategy, pipeline management, and performance improvement. Reporting & Dashboard Development Design, build, and optimize reports and dashboards in Salesforce CRM Analytics, Power BI, and Excel. Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across sales teams and leadership. Create clear, executive-level PowerPoint reports and deliverables that effectively communicate key metrics and insights. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Partner with Growth Enablement Teams (GET) and sales leadership to gather requirements, understand business needs, and deliver tailored analytics solutions. Support adoption of reporting tools by training users and embedding analytics into daily workflows. Continuous Improvement Monitor and enhance data quality, working with system administrators and stakeholders to resolve discrepancies. Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in sales analytics, data visualization, and Salesforce CRM Analytics. Proactively identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and introduce innovative solutions. Position Requirements Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales analytics, data analysis, or a related role. Proven experience with Salesforce report and dashboard development, including Salesforce Analytics Studio (Einstein Analytics/CRM Analytics). Proficiency in Power BI (including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling) and Excel for advanced data analysis and reporting. Demonstrated ability to design and implement data models that optimize performance and support scalable reporting solutions. Excellent skills in creating executive PowerPoint reports and leadership deliverables while applying brand standards. Proficient in written and oral English. Ability to work across time zones. Technical Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Expertise in Salesforce (including Analytics Studio), Power BI, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to develop interactive dashboards and visualizations that communicate insights effectively. Familiarity with data visualization best practices, including layout, storytelling, and accessibility. Knowledge of data integration, transformation, and preparation techniques to support consistent and accurate reporting. Soft Skills Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to think analytically about data, identify patterns, and extract actionable insights from data sources. Ability to translate and represent complex data visually using charts, graphs, and dashboards. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals of varying work styles and levels. Ability to prioritize workload and make strategic decisions about what to accomplish when faced with competing needs. Willingness to learn new tools, skills, and processes. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a sales operations or sales enablement role. Knowledge of CRM systems and data management best practices. Certification in Salesforce (Administrator, Analytics/Einstein, or related) and/or Power BI (DA-100/PL-300). Experience with SQL or other query languages to support advanced data modelling and data extraction. Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices related to analytics.
