Description

We are seeking a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Specialist with a strong background in marine sales to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer relationships, optimizing sales processes, and supporting business growth in the marine industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in marine product sales, client account management, and CRM software. Travel may be required to visit clients, attend industry events, and support sales efforts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in CRM management and marine sales (boats, marine equipment, or related products).
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of marine industry customers, products, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate customer insights to drive sales performance.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (estimated 25% travel potential).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience attending and managing sales efforts at boat shows, marine expos, or industry events.
  • Background in technical marine product sales or customer support.
  • Knowledge of marine regulations and product compliance standards.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing marine industry clients to drive sales and long-term partnerships.

  • Travel & Client Visits: Travel to client locations, marinas, boat shows, and trade events as needed to strengthen relationships and close deals.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Market Insights: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support business strategies.
