As a CRM Engineer at StarHub – IS Divisions, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating our core Customer Relationship Management and Order Management platforms that power StarHub’s Consumer Business operations. This role focuses on engineering scalable and resilient CRM OM solutions within the telecom domain, supporting customer onboarding, product lifecycle management, sales journeys, and fulfillment orchestration.   Operating within a DevOps model, you will take ownership of both build and run responsibilities, delivering production-ready systems with strong reliability, observability, and automation practices across cloud-native environments.   If building enterprise-grade CRM and OM systems excites you and you are comfortable working across backend services, databases, and Kubernetes environments, we want you on our team. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and operate CRM and Order Management solutions within the consumer business domain, supporting end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes. Enhance capabilities across Customer Management, Product Catalogue, Order Management, and Revenue Management, ensuring scalable and resilient, and high-performance platform architecture. Develop enterprise-grade backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate, and deliver secure RESTful APIs for integration with Billing, Provisioning, Digital, and external systems. Write and optimize complex SQL, PL/SQL, and PL/pgSQL queries to support high-volume and performance-critical processing, ensuring data integrity and transaction consistency. Work with enterprise data and messaging platforms including PostgreSQL, Oracle, Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka. Operate within a DevOps “build and run” model, supporting CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, production releases, and structured on-call rotations, managing incidents through PagerDuty and ServiceNow Drive platform stability and reliability through end-to-end observability (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch), proactive monitoring, root cause analysis, SLA adherence, and disaster recovery readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and produce clear technical designs, integration documentation, and operational runbooks.   Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 4+ years of combined experience in CRM OM backend development, DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineering. Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development. Solid expertise in PostgreSQL and/or Oracle, including advanced SQL and performance tuning. Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments with strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (EKS, EC2, RDS, IAM), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab). Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation and scripting (Shell/Python) for automation. Preferred Certifications Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or Certified Cloud Practitioner
