Between our passion for a bragworthy customer experience and quality shippers, we aim to create a quick and streamlined process for all our customers’ freight needs.
We are seeking a positive and goal-oriented Sales Executive to join our fast-growing sales team in Laredo, TX. The primary responsibility of our Sales Executives is to build a continuous book of business and become your customers’ go-to freight broker. The person we hire will have the opportunity to be a cornerstone in our new Laredo, TX, office. This includes helping create a ‘winning culture’ and being a part of our many growth opportunities. If you have experience with inside sales, CRM’s, negotiations, overcoming objections, and closing, this position may be a fit for you.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ideally, 2+ years of sales experience (will be asked for quantitative data)
  • Previous logistics/3PL experience is NOT a requirement, but highly encouraged
  • Demonstrates the ability to create, grow, and maintain a book of business
  • Experience in handling objections and negotiations in an inside sales environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and follow industry trends
  • Strong enthusiasm for being a leader by example - organized, coachable, a team player, and a positive professional

Responsibilities
  • Creating a book of business and maintaining your customer relationships
  • Utilize HubSpot to proactively prospect, create a pipeline of potential customers, and track all sales/customer activity
  • Making roughly 50 calls per day, it will be a mix of prospective and current customers
  • Contribute to and collaborate with the operation teams
  • Learning key platforms, including CRM, transportation, and prospecting tools
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and close deals with clients
  • Staying up to date on industry trends and competitor activities to offer better solutions
  • Be a culture driver – maintain a positive work environment and be open to coaching and growth
