We're looking for a Cross-Functional Manufacturing Operator to join our 2nd shift team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, likes learning new equipment, and takes pride in producing quality products. In this role, you'll be trained to operate multiple pieces of equipment, including our Zünd cutting system, laser equipment, and engraving machines. Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 2pm-12:30am. Enjoy a three day weekend. In addition to your base pay, this position qualifies for a $2.00 per hour shift differential. What You'll Do No two days are exactly the same. As a Cross-Functional Manufacturing Operator, you will: Operate and monitor Zünd cutting, laser, and engraving equipment Learn multiple fabrication processes and become cross-trained across all three equipment platforms Review work orders, drawings, and production specifications Load materials and prepare equipment for production runs Perform machine setup, calibration, and routine maintenance tasks Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met Troubleshoot minor equipment or production issues Maintain accurate production records and documentation Follow all safety procedures and workplace standards Collaborate with teammates to meet production schedules What Makes You Successful Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with equipment and technology Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings Strong problem-solving skills Dependable attendance and a positive attitude Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Willingness to learn new equipment and processes Preferred Qualifications Previous experience operating CNC, cutting, laser, engraving, printing, routing, or other production equipment Manufacturing, fabrication, or production experience Experience using measuring tools and quality inspection techniques Basic computer skills Don't have experience with all three machines? That's okay. We're willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn. Must have the ability to stand for extended periods and lift required materials.
