We are a family dental office located in Whittier. We are looking for a Dental Front Office assistant that is organized, sociable, reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team. Candidate MUST BE FLUENT in SPANISH. Candidate MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON SATURDAYS. MUST be able to discuss treatment plan in SPANISH. Ideal candidate must be great with patients, efficient with their time, reliable, and have a positive attitude. Duties:
- Welcome the patients
- Answering calls
- Checking patients in/out
- Scheduling appointment
- Confirm patient appointments
- Checking insurance eligibility
- Submitting pre-authorization to insurances
- Maintain recall list
- Present Treatment plan to patients
- Setup treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
- Take x-rays and impressions, make temporary crowns.
- Perform dental charting on all patient treatment.
- Assist the dentist in providing care for our patients.
- Provide Oral hygiene and post-operative instructions.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments/equipment/operatory/chairs.
- Keep treatment rooms clean and well-stocked.
- Keep the clinic, lunchroom, storefront, restrooms clean.
- Submit & receive lab cases.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for our patients and team.
- Tidy up-front desk & waiting room
- At the end of the day, help clean clinic & lunchroom.
