Description General Description: The Worship Leader supports the vision and mission of the church by using their musical gifts to lead the congregation in worship. This role contributes to creating a Christ-centered, Spirit-led worship environment by providing musician accompaniment that enhances the overall sound and feel of the worship team. Essential Job Functions: · Actively participates in the systems that have been established by Crossroads Worship · To create successful weekends/Wednesdays, healthy team culture, and God-honoring worship. · Aims to execute the vision of their worship leader and musical director. · Arrives for rehearsals, services, and other critical times on-time or early. · Comes to rehearsals prepared at an extremely high level with parts memorized, mastered, and ready for execution. · Communicates frequently and e?ectively with their Worship Leader and Musical Director, including if they will not be on-time. · Contributes to creating an excellent worship experience for the congregation. · Exemplifies professionalism in the way they conduct themselves on and o? stage. · Follow the Weekend Dress Guidelines. · Maintains a great attitude, uses it to make a positive contribution to the team culture. · Pours into other team members to empower them to grow and develop. · Respects church equipment and treats it with care. · Seeks their own development and growth through mentorship and guidance of more experienced leaders and musicians. · Sets an example for the rest of the team in their promptness. · Utilizes their extensive musical experience to make significant and meaningful musical contributions to weekend worship. · Is available to be scheduled minimum one Wednesday and one Sunday per month. (Note: This does not guarantee hours). Physical Requirements: · Be skilled vocalist and gifted worship leader. · Communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, exchange information. · The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. · Typical church environment including large and small group gatherings that have loud music and involve work in rooms with low lighting.
