Authority The Chief Engineer is in charge of the technical operations of the vessel In charge of safe management of engine room operations and maintenances Co-Ordinator for shipboard anti-pollution activities Minimum requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in the capacity of Chief Engineer or other relevant experience from the Cruise Industry Valid class Chief Engineer license and certificates according to STCW 95 as amended Good knowledge about maritime rules and regulations (SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL, MLC) Good knowledge of PMS and inventory management. Great leadership skills Great communication skills Fluent command in English Great interpersonal skills and good team leading ability Good references As part of our hiring process, candidates will undergo standard pre-employment checks, including medical and drug/alcohol testing Beneficial experiences: Experience from cruise vessels operating on international itineraries Experience from new built and/or site team or project work Experience in sailing under NIS flag BASSNET USCG, USPH knowledge.
