Authority The Master is the ultimate authority on the ship The Company’s and the ship owner representative Minimum requirements: Relevant experience as of Master or other relevant experience from the Cruise segment. Experience from cruise vessels operating on international itineraries Advanced ice navigation training Valid class 1 Masters license and certificates according to STCW 95 as amended Good knowledge about maritime rules and regulations (SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL, MLC) Good knowledge of the requirements under USPH and USCG Great leadership skills Great communication skills Fluent command in English and a Scandinavian language Great interpersonal skills and good team leading ability Good references As part of our hiring process, candidates will undergo standard pre-employment checks, including medical and drug/alcohol testing Beneficial experiences: Experience from new built and/or site team or project work Experience in sailing under NIS flag Fluent in Scandinavian language No recruitment fees.
