Authority Officer of the Deck department Master’s deputy Ship Security Officer Required qualifications and competences: Minimum 2 years’ experience in the capacity of Staff Captain or other relevant experience from the Cruise Industry Valid class 1 Masters license and certificates according to STCW 95 as amended Good knowledge about maritime rules and regulations (SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL, MLC) Good knowledge of the requirements under USPH and USCG Great leadership skills Great communication skills Fluent command in English Great interpersonal skills and good team leading ability Good references Beneficial experiences: Experience from expedition cruise and vessels operating in Artic waters Experience from new built and/or site team or project work Experience in sailing under NIS flag Fluent in Scandinavian language We offer: Interesting positions within a rapidly growing and dynamic fleet Good career opportunities Competitive terms and conditions 10 weeks on/off No recruitment fees.
