Introduction As the Crypto business is growing at IMC, we need to ensure that our post-trade processes are as scalable and efficient as possible. Hence, we are looking for a Crypto Mid Office Associate to play an important role – assist on the day-to-day Crypto Mid Office operations, as well as work with our developers to design and improve processes. Responsibilities Providing operational support on the day-to-day Crypto Mid Office tasks: these include Identifying, investigating and resolving trade, position and cash breaks by working closely with Traders Daily PnL substantiation and reconciliation Loan management and reconciliation Working with finance on month end cash flow reconciliation and accounting bookings Working with developers to ensure all current Mid Office processes and procedures are the most efficient and effective via continuous review Requirements Strong understanding of the operations landscape (specifically trade and position reconciliation, PnL substantiation, settlements) Demonstrated experience in process improvements Strong communication skills Owner mentality: take ownership of tasks and projects. A drive to understand the business beyond own role to add value to the overall business Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and with various stakeholders (Finance, Risk, Trading, Tech) Excellent problem-solving skills Proactive, assertive, hands-on, flexible personality Intermediate proficiency in SQL and Python is preferred About Us IMC is a global trading firm powered by a cutting-edge research environment and a world-class technology backbone.
