Description
This is a 3-credit, graduate-level course for students interested in the treatment of infants and children with hearing loss. The course focuses on the speech, language, and auditory characteristics of infants and children with hearing loss, their rehabilitative needs, and the effectiveness of various types of treatment approaches. The syllabus will be consistent with SHRS and CSD standards. Course content, assessment, and instructional mode will be consistent with the curriculum and accreditation requirements and will be guided by the Program Director to ensure the appropriateness of the content. Applicant Requirements: Individuals applying for this position will have a master's degree and/or Ph.D. in communication science, speech-language pathology, or a related field.
