About the Role We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented, and highly professional Customer Care Representative to provide exceptional support to customers in a fully remote environment. This role is focused entirely on customer care — ensuring every interaction is handled with empathy, clarity, and efficiency. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers, guiding them through inquiries, providing information, and delivering a supportive experience during meaningful and sensitive moments. This is a full-time remote position operating under Eastern Time (US) with weekends off. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner Provide accurate information and guide customers through processes with care and empathy Address concerns, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all customer interactions Escalate complex or sensitive cases appropriately when needed Uphold high service standards and meet quality benchmarks Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Qualifications Proven experience in customer service or customer care roles Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Strong empathy and emotional intelligence Ability to handle sensitive conversations with professionalism and compassion Highly organized and detail-oriented Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment Comfortable working Eastern Time (US) hours Good to Have: At least 12 months of experience working remotely Background or experience in the death care, memorial services, funeral, or related space Work Setup & Schedule 100% Work From Home Full-time (40 hours per week) Eastern Time (US) schedule Weekends off
