About the role: Maintaining high standards of practice in CSSD Identify, assess and implement measures to manage risks Adhere to ACHA and site policies and procedures, work in close relationship with theatre nurses to achieve best practice and continuous quality improvement Management of Infection Control and WHS issues pertaining to the unit to ensure patient safety, a safe work environment and safe practice for all staff Ensures equipment and consumables are functional, serviced and available Assist with ensuring all staff are up to standards including the ongoing education and continuous improvement of staff in CSSD.
