Description
HOUSE 1516 Lifting, Transferring, Physical Supports and Personal Care are required.   Experience with tube feeding would be an asset.   SACLA is currently recruiting for a Community Support Worker for two gentlemen who live in their own home.  They enjoy going for walks in their neighborhood, building and strengthening relationships with family and friends and occasionally enjoy an evening in together.   The successful candidate will be required to support the gentlemen to self-advocate, be a positive role model, participate and be members of the community and to meet their day to day requirements.  Experience supporting individuals who have alternative methods of communication would be an asset. Sat and Sun: 8am to 3pm 14 awake / zero sleep hrs per week 2
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support two gentlemen in their daily activities and help them self-advocate. They will also encourage community participation and strengthen relationships with family and friends.
