Description
  HOUSE 1516 Lifting, Transferring, Physical Supports and Personal Care are required. Experience with tube feeding would be an asset. SACLA is currently recruiting for a Community Support Worker for two gentlemen who live in their own home.  They enjoy going for walks in their neighborhood, building and strengthening relationships with family and friends and occasionally enjoy an evening in together. The successful candidate will be required to support the gentlemen to self-advocate, be a positive role model, participate and be members of the community and to meet their day to day requirements.  Experience supporting individuals who have alternative methods of communication would be an asset.     Alternating Sat-Sun: 3p-8p Awake 10hrs / Sleep 0hrs
Responsibilities
The Community Support Worker will provide essential support to two gentlemen in their home, including lifting, transferring, physical supports, and personal care. Responsibilities also involve supporting the individuals to self-advocate, be positive role models, and participate in the community.
