Job Description

As a CT & MRI Technician, you will play a vital role in conducting imaging procedures that help diagnose and treat various medical conditions. You will work closely with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct Imaging Procedures: Administer CT and MRI scans according to protocols, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnosis.

- Patient Care: Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the steps involved to alleviate anxiety and gather necessary medical history.

- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly check and maintain CT and MRI equipment, ensuring they are functioning correctly to avoid any interruptions in service.

- Assist Radiologists: Work with radiologists to discuss imaging results and aid in further assessments or procedures as needed.

- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines and radiation protection standards to ensure patient and staff safety during procedures.

- Document Procedures: Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and results, documenting any patient reactions or unusual occurrences.

Required Skills and Expectations:

You should possess a diploma in Radiologic Technology or a related field, coupled with 1 to 7 years of relevant experience. Strong technical skills in operating imaging machinery and a thorough understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important for interacting with patients and healthcare staff. Attention to detail, along with problem-solving abilities, is necessary to ensure accuracy in all imaging procedures. Professionalism and compassion when handling patients will be key to your success in this role.
