CT Registered Nurse (RN) Starting salary is based on experience - Bonuses/Stipends as well as a generous benefits package including medical, dental, life, std, ltd, 401k/pension, tuition reimbursement, convenient, free parking, etc. Provides general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards, documenting. Performs intravenous therapy to those patients receiving IV contrast. Also administers contrast via PICC, Port and assesses patient. Assists other nursing departments as needed. Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Certificate/License: Possession of a New York State Registered Nurse license. CPR certification. Experience: Preferred Oncology experience or 2-3 years working in a diagnostic imaging center
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse provides general nursing care and administers prescribed medications to patients. They are also responsible for performing intravenous therapy, including contrast administration via PICC lines and ports.
