Education High school graduate or equivalent Health related education or certification Experience / Qualifications Previous experience related experience preferred Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in the state of Florida preferred American Heart Association BLS, for Heath Care Provider Position Summary The Radiology Tech Assistant performs specific tasks supporting the delivery of patient care in the assigned area. Works under the direction of a Registered Technologist and/or Registered Nurse. Assists with receiving patient in the exam room, proper positioning of patients for exams, discussing exams and preps with patients. Assists in the transport of patients to and from the designated exam area. Assists Technologist on recording patient history on screening questionnaire. Performs other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements This job can be physically demanding at times requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, making sound decisions, detail oriented, alert and self-motivated. Ability to push/pull up to 40lbs, carry and lift up to 50lbs.
