Description The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging examinations and should be well educated in anatomy, patient positioning, proper examination techniques, equipment protocol, radiation safety & protection, and excellent patient care. Responsibilities: Perform daily calibration and warm-up of imaging equipment Operate and perform imaging exams Interview patient prior to examination to obtain pertinent background and history relating to imaging procedures Collect prior patient scans or images from outside facilities before scheduled exam Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required Requirements Requirements AART(CT) Certified Must have current BLS certification Ability to lift 25 pounds Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time Compliance with OSHA & HIPAA policies Other Skills/Abilities: Excellent computer skills Exceptional written, verbal, customer service, and problem-solving skills Ability to work well with other team members across all departments IV skills are preferred
