Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Radiology-CT Scan Shift: Third Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: This position is responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging through the application of advanced technical and clinical knowledge, while maintaining strict attention to patient care and ALARA principles. Accountable for providing CT imaging expertise for all ages from neonatal/newborn to adults, with acuity ranges from stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support. Knowledgeable of regulatory compliance standards and radiation safety, maintaining departmental compliance in collaboration with Radiation Safety Officer. Schedule: Full-time position, four 10-hour overnight shifts, 8:30pm-7:00am, Wed-Sat. Qualifications: Graduation from accredited program in Radiological Technology Minimum of 1 year Pediatric CT experience preferred Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross sectional anatomy Good interpersonal skills Must have the ability to handle critical care situations which can create a high level of stress ARRT (CT) registered or obtain ARRT (CT) certification within 18 months of hire Texas licensed Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist required CPR BLS required About Us: Cook Children's Medical Center is the cornerstone of Cook Children's, and offers advanced technologies, research and treatments, surgery, rehabilitation and ancillary services all designed to meet children's needs.
