Description We are searching for an experienced CT Technologist for a full time, 1 year W-2 contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Syracuse, New York. Any state license is accepted for this position (no NY license requirement). Position Highlights $45/hour W-2 Compensation Healthcare Benefits + 401k 1 Year VA Contract with Extension Opportunities Any U.S. state license accepted 2 Week Orientation and Protocol Training Professional Liability coverage provided Position: Diagnostic Radiologic (CT) Technologist Location: Syracuse, NY - VA Medical Center Compensation: $45/hour + Healthcare Coverage & 401k Contract Dates: 4/5/2026 to 10/4/2026 with option to extend Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm (shift varies), 30 minute unpaid lunch Call: Occasional after hours and weekend call coverage may be required Scope of Care/Procedures CT abdomen (with and without contrast) Low-dose chest CT CT head, neck, and chest CT cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine CT PE protocol CTA head, neck, abdomen, pelvis CT renal mass studies CT cystogram CT GI bleed studies CT facial bones CT biopsies Requirements Any current, unrestricted Radiologic Technologist license (any U.S. state accepted) 3+ years of experience as DRT (CT) performing procedures listed above Certification in general Radiologic Technology by ARRT Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT Clean Malpractice History & Criminal Record
Responsibilities
The CT Technologist will perform various CT procedures, including CT abdomen, chest, and spine studies. The role also involves occasional after-hours and weekend call coverage.
