Description The Career Technical Education (CTE) Assistant provides programmatic, logistical, and administrative support across multiple CTE pathways, including Healthcare, Direct Support Professional (DSP), Construction, Business, Advanced Manufacturing, and Culinary. This role supports instructors and leadership by managing equipment and inventory, assisting with workforce advisory collaborations, supporting projects, and tracking program data to ensure high-quality, industry-aligned programming. Requirements Program & Classroom Support Support CTE instructors across all pathways with daily program needs and special projects Assist with preparation and organization of instructional materials, tools, and equipment Provide hands-on assistance during labs, workshops, simulations, and training activities as needed Inventory & Equipment Management Assist with maintaining accurate inventory of CTE equipment, tools, gear, supplies, etc… Track usage, condition, and replacement needs of program materials Assist with ordering, receiving, labeling, and organizing equipment and supplies Ensure equipment is stored safely and in compliance with safety, sanitation, and program standards Workforce Advisory Collaboration Support workforce advisory board activities, including meeting preparation, documentation, and follow-up Assist with coordination of employer partnerships, site visits, guest speakers, and collaborative projects across all CTE pathways Help collect and organize feedback from industry partners to support program improvement Data Tracking & Reporting Assist with tracking program data such as student participation, certifications, credentials, work-based learning, and equipment usage Assist with maintaining accurate records for compliance, reporting, and grant-related needs Support instructors and leadership with data collection for program evaluation and workforce outcomes Administrative & Project Support Assist with cross-program projects and initiatives aligned to workforce development goals Support scheduling, communication, and documentation related to CTE activities Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth coordination between programs and departments Perform other duties as assigned to support CTE operations Qualifications High school diploma required Experience supporting educational programs, workforce development, or technical training environments preferred Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to manage inventory and track data accurately Comfortable working across multiple program areas and with diverse stakeholders Basic technology skills (Google Workspace, spreadsheets, data tracking tools, or similar systems) Preferred Skills & Attributes Familiarity with CTE, workforce development, or industry training programs Knowledge of basic kitchen safety, sanitation, or food handling practices preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving mindset with flexibility to support evolving program needs Commitment to student success, workforce readiness, and hands-on learning Work Environment May involve lifting, organizing equipment, and moving supplies Occasional local travel for workforce partnerships, site visits, or events
