JOB SUMMARY

The CTE ECE Teacher will provide high-quality instruction in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) pathway, preparing students with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experiences needed for success in child development careers. This role includes developing lesson plans, teaching CTE ECE courses, and supporting student engagement and achievement in alignment with EPIC’s mission.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Valid CTE Credential in Early Childhood Education.
  • Teaching or training experience in ECE or related CTE pathway.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with curriculum development in ECE.
  • Prior experience working with high school or adult learners in a CTE program.
  • Familiarity with internship coordination and workforce development partnerships.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Valid California Driver’s License.
  • Proof of automobile insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Create and foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Participate in professional development and training activities as required.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and program leadership.
