The client partners with Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) to deliver a seamless, tech-forward platform that integrates financial planning, investments, estate planning, tax, and insurance into one digital experience. The mission is to help advisors attract and serve the next generation of wealth while radically improving efficiency. About the Client The client is developing a cutting-edge platform for wealth management, focused on integrating all aspects of financial planning into a unified digital experience. The team is dedicated to transforming how advisors and their clients interact with financial services, leveraging technology to drive efficiency and innovation. The Role The client is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead product and technology strategy as the company scales. The CTO will own engineering, product architecture, and technical vision. This leader will partner closely with the founding and leadership team to define product roadmap priorities, ensure scalability and reliability, and build a best-in-class engineering culture. Responsibilities - Drive the overall technology vision, architecture, and roadmap for the company. - Lead, grow, and mentor a high-performing engineering team. - Oversee product development cycles, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. - Partner with product and design teams to translate advisor and client needs into innovative, scalable solutions. - Establish and enforce best practices around security, compliance, and infrastructure. - Own vendor and custodian integrations (APEX, Plaid, Schwab, April, Ladder, etc.) and ensure smooth connectivity. - Represent technology in investor conversations and with key external stakeholders. Qualifications - Proven experience leading technology teams at a high-growth fintech or SaaS company. - Strong background in software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and product development. - Track record of building and scaling engineering organizations. - Experience in wealth management, fintech, or adjacent financial services preferred. - Strategic thinker who can balance near-term execution with long-term innovation. - Strong communicator and collaborator with both technical and non-technical audiences.
