Description

The position has responsibility for sourcing of Furniture, Signage, Bikes, Kitchen Equipments, SS Fabrication, LPG, HVAC, Coldroom, Other equipments etc. Candidate should help Domino’s business with an utmost focus on cost and ensuring the long term supplier relationships. The person proactively develops and integrates short term/long-term sourcing strategies providing commodity and technological expertise. Collaborating with other cross functional teams focused on cost control, process improvements or other specific supply chain initiatives to achieve competitive advantage and improve responsiveness to customer demand. Develops and owns the relationship with indirect suppliers including development and execution of business plans to meet corporate objectives. * Define procurement strategies for key categories and execute * Cost Model & TCO * Industry Analysis * Understanding of different sourcing space and correlation with other industries * Capacity Building – Supplier Base Expansion * Commercial Negotiations and Sourcing Tools (RFI, RFP/RFQ, Reverse Auction using SAP Ariba) * Contract Management * Capability Building * Ensuring right governance and controls in line with organizational policies and SOPs * Researches and analyses market intelligence data for trends in different indirect categories which could directly impact category spend * Annual Budgeting and Planning – Ensuring costs delivered as per budget * Identify & implement value engineering initiatives for cost optimization * Closely work with planning and logistics team to ensure on time in full availability of material/services * Build strong relationship with suppliers for long term competitive advantage * Build robust mechanisms for tracking market prices and benchmarking with competition Qualification: * Qualification – Bachelors Degree, preferably B.E./B. tech. Also, strong preference for MBA. Experience: * 6-10 years of experience in sourcing, category management, supplier development, contracting & negotiations in Capex items or good understanding of Capex purchase market (preferably from FMCG/QSR/e-commerce industry, but not absolutely necessary) * Exposure on ARIBA platform and SAP MM module will be an added advantage * Expertise with MS Office (Excel, PPT & Word) extremely important * Good interpersonal skills to manage various stakeholders * Ability to lead team and manager cross functional stakeholders & business partners * Ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment * Experience of building, strengthening and sustaining strong supplier relationships * Excellent communication skills * Excellent organizational and project management skills * Team player, self-driven, Analytical and problem solving * Flexible, ability to work independently
