We are seeking a CTSS Mental Health Practitioner to join our team. This is a full-time position working 35-40 hours/week in the metro area. The hours for this position are flexible but will be primarily early mornings and afternoons.
We are looking for someone with experience in working with children with Mental Health Prognosis. This rewarding position will consist of working in a partnership with a therapist on goals outlined by an individual treatment plan.

HAS AT LEAST 2,000 HOURS OF SUPERVISED EXPERIENCE IN THE DELIVERY OF SERVICES TO ADULTS OR CHILDREN WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: MENTAL ILLNESS, EMOTIONAL DISTURBANCE, OR SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER, AND RECEIVES CLINICAL SUPERVISION AS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE STATUTES AND RULES FROM A MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK UNTIL THE REQUIREMENT OF 4,000 HOURS OF SUPERVISED EXPERIENCE IS MET, OR TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY OR DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES; COMPLETES TRAINING ON MENTAL ILLNESS, RECOVERY FROM MENTAL ILLNESS, MENTAL HEALTH DE-ESCALATION TECHNIQUES, CO-OCCURRING MENTAL ILLNESS AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE, AND PSYCHOTROPIC MEDICATIONS AND SIDE EFFECTS; AND RECEIVES CLINICAL SUPERVISION AS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE STATUTES AND RULES AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK FROM A MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL UNTIL THE REQUIREMENT OF 4,000 HOURS OF SUPERVISED EXPERIENCE IS MET.

Has a graduate student internship or a bachelor’s or master’s degree and is a graduate student in behavioral sciences or related fields and is formally assigned by an accredited college or university to an agency or facility for clinical training.

Responsibilities
  • Provide rehabilitative and skill-focused services to enable clients in basic living and social skills, community intervention and transitioning into community living
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with, teach skills to, and support clients as they work towards individual goals
  • Alleviate barriers to assist client’s integration into the community
  • Establish personal recovery and rehabilitation goals with each client
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families/legal guardians of clients, work personnel, and medical personnel as appropriate
  • Complete all required client paperwork, including Functional Assessment, Interpretive Summary, LOCUS and Individual Treatment Plan
