Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon (CTVS) We are looking for a highly proficient and dedicated CTVS Surgeon to join our cardiothoracic surgery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing complex surgical procedures on the heart, lungs, esophagus, and major blood vessels, with a strong focus on precision, patient safety, and collaborative care. Qualifications: ● Medical degree (MBBS, MS/MCh/DNB) from a recognized institution. ● Super-specialty training in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery. ● Board certification in CTVS or equivalent. ● Valid medical license to practice in [Insert State/Region]. ● Strong operative skills and sound clinical judgment. ● Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities. Key Responsibilities: ● Diagnose and surgically treat cardiovascular and thoracic conditions including coronary artery disease, heart valve disorders, congenital defects, and thoracic malignancies. ● Perform procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, aortic aneurysm repairs, and lung resections. ● Collaborate with cardiologists, pulmonologists, intensivists, and anesthesiologists for comprehensive perioperative care. ● Oversee preoperative evaluation, surgical planning, and postoperative care. ● Provide emergency surgical care for trauma or acute cardiac cases as needed. ● Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and surgical planning meetings. ● Maintain thorough patient records and document all interventions using EHR systems. ● Stay updated with the latest surgical advancements and innovations in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. Preferred Skills: ● Experience in both adult and pediatric cardiothoracic surgery is a plus. ● Exposure to minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures preferred. ● Proficiency with vascular access, bypass techniques, and complex grafting procedures. ● Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. ● Strong academic or research background is an added advantage.
