Our Leadership and Culinary Development Programs are minimum 18-month programs designed for you to understand the hotel's overall operations while specializing in several areas. Through cross-exposure experiences, and mentorship, participants will build their leadership capabilities. Upon completion of the Leadership/Management programs, graduates will be equipped to take on leadership roles within our Hotel. These Programs will also serve as a key driver for strengthening our internal talent pipelines. The Leadership and Culinary Development Programs combines a series of rotations where you have specific milestones to mark your progress as you advance your knowledge as a Food & Beverage Management Trainee, and Rooms Management Trainee, or a Culinary Development Trainee, in order to prepare you for a future role in the area that maximizes your strengths, ambitions, and aspirations. Culinary Development Program Trainee As a Culinary Development Program Participant, you will train under the guidance of the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Executive Pastry Chef, with support from the broader culinary leadership teams. This hands-on program is designed to build core competencies in culinary operations, which include classical, contemporary, and seasonal cuisine, food cost control, scheduling and labor planning, production and plating standards, health and safety compliance, and operational consistency. In addition, you will be exposed to back-of-house administration, which includes exposure to forecasting, inventory and purchasing systems (e.g., BirchStreet), menu development and costing, coaching techniques, performance reviews, and leadership briefings. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be offered a full-time position in one of our renowned culinary kitchens, celebrated for excellence and innovation. Qualifications Program Eligibility: *This Program is exclusive to Bermudians, PRC, or Spouse of a Bermudian* Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management or a Degree in Business/Tourism is preferred A minimum of 12 months practical work experience within the hospitality industry A willingness and ability to work in a team environment, with excellent communication skills and the ability to exceed customer service expectations Must have flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays Specific to the Culinary Development Program: A minimum of 2,080 hours of culinary experience in a professional kitchen (equivalent to approximately 12 months of full-time employment) Demonstrated foundational knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations Additional Information Submit your resume, including a one-page cover letter that describes why you are applying, how you meet the eligibility criteria and what benefit you would bring to Hamilton Princess & Beach Club Hotel.
