REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cover various aspects of culinary arts, including nutrition facts, cooking techniques, food handling, baking, and sanitation.
  • Instruct K-8 students on the proper use of kitchen equipment and tools, including knives and other culinary utensils.
  • Engage students in making healthy food decisions.
  • Create a student friendly cookbook lead by students.
  • Demonstrate cooking methods and techniques while ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Evaluate student performance through practical assessments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Maintain an organized and sanitary kitchen space for instructional purposes.
