Trinity Woods, an intergenerational housing community on the campus of Mount Mary University, is looking for a Culinary Services Supervisor to join its team.

SUMMARY:

The Culinary Services Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the Dining Room and ancillary food outlets. They assist with the purchasing of food and supplies and is also responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of Food Service equipment and utensils adhering to common standards and sanitary food handling procedures. Assists with scheduling.

Education and/or Experience:
· High School education required.
· Must be a Certified Dietary Manager or have equivalent work experience.
Knowledge and/or Experience:
· Equipment Operation: Phone, copier, manual carts, food preparation equipment such as kitchen hand tools, warming tables, coolers, blending/mixing devices and dishwashing equipment.

· Assists in maintaining sufficient quantities of other food (i.e. bakery and juice) and supplies.
· Supervises cleaning and sanitation of dining room, kitchen, dishroom and food service window.
· Determines daily work and cleaning assignments, scheduling food servers as needed.
· Assists in establishing work standards and methods covering food preparation serving activities, methods and procedures as required.
· Responsible for assessing resident satisfaction through mealtime visitation and observation.
· Responsible for maintaining daily record of meals served.
· Directly supervises employees involved in dining room service and dish room areas.
· Coordinates departmental meetings and in-service training for Food Service staff.
· Evaluates employees work performance and assists in documentation relative to employee performance, including discipline procedures.
· Other job duties as assigned.
· Through knowledge, demonstrates knowledge of organization mission, vision, values
· Completes mandatory in-service/Relias training on time and as they are due
