The Cultivation Technician role is responsible for the overall care and attention to our plants according to our established cultivation programs. The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for horticulture and a love for plants.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • Solid team player who promotes a culture of professionalism, integrity, quality, and teamwork
  • Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand or sit for duration of shift along with good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and strong attention to detail
  • Capable of following strict processes and procedure with minimal supervision
  • 1-2 years of experience working within a highly regulated GPP environment is an asset
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Previous experience working in cannabis is an asset
  • Grade 12 or GED
  • Drivers license or reliable form of transportation
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate a smart phone with ease
Responsibilities
  • Assist in growing high quality cannabis by applying company standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform cultivation tasks including but not limited to transplanting, pruning, defoliating, pest monitoring
  • Ability to perform repetitive & labour intensive work
  • Ability to manage multiple activities/projects simultaneously
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work cleanly
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and reliably in a fast-paced work environment
  • Operate in a safe and compliant manner and adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Accurately document all work performed as directed in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Participate in IPM program in the post-harvest sanitation; including appropriate disposal of plant materials and routine cleaning and sterilization of grow rooms
  • Other duties as assigned
