Job Summary Reporting to the Cultivation Supervisor (Propagation, Cultivation, IPM, Tissue Culture or designate) and/or Cultivation Lead; the Cultivation Technician will be responsible for safely carrying out the duties which support the growth and health of the plants. The Cultivation Technician will follow standard operating procedures and document consistently to ensure the quality of the plants. O técnico de cultivo seguirá os precedimentos operacionais padrão e documentará de forma consistente para assegurar a qualidade das plantas. Responsabilidade / Role and Responsabilities * Performance the duties/tasks which support the growth and health of the crops while maintaining a safe, clean and compliant workplace; Desempenha as funções/tarefas que apoiam o crescimento e a saúde das culturas, mantendo ao mesmo tempo um local de trabalho seguro, limpo e em conformidade * Perform all Production tasks required as part of our Production Schedule in any area of Production and as described in our Standard Operating Procedures; Executar todas as tarefas de produção necessárias, de acordo com o plano de produção e em qualquer area do cultivo, como descrito nos procedimentos operacionais padrão * Ensure assigned tasks are completed within expected time as per our Labour Tracking Data and meet quality standards; Assegurar que as tarefas atribuidas são completadas dentro dos tempos esperados, e de acordo com os registos de trabalho , e que cumpram os padrões de qualidade * Perform cleaning in the greenhouse to include but not limited to; sweeping, mopping, emptying garbage & recycling; Efetuar a limpeza na estufa: varrer, limpar, esvaziar o lixo e reciclar * Ensure Greenhouse sanitation is completed and minor cleaning is performed as needed during the crop cycle in coordination with Cultivation Supervisor/Lead; Garantir a sanitização das estufas e a realização de limpezas menores, sempre que necessário, durante o ciclo produtivo, em coordenação com o Supervisor ou Lead da area * Any other duty deemed essential as requested by the Regional Production Director; Qualquer outra tarefa considerada essencial, solicitada pela supervisor Qualificações e Requisitos / Qualifications and Education Requirements * High School diploma preferend; Preferência pelo ensino secundário * 1-year experience in a greenhouse or in an agricultural setting is considered an asset; Minimo 1 ano de experiência numa estufa ou num ambiente agrícola (preferência) * Ability to work in greenhouse environmental; Capacidade para trabalhar num ambiente de estufa * Capable of multi-taskin; Capacidade de multi-tarefa * Ability to work within a Good Agriculture Collection Pratice and/or Good Manufacuring Practices compliance area; Capacidade para trabalhar segundo as boas práticas de agricultura e de fabrico * Ability to perform the safe and effective execution of all duties in accordance with established company safety, quality and compliance policies; Capacidade de executar com segurança e eficácia todas as tarefas de acordo com as políticas estabelecidas de segurança, qualidade e conformidade da empresa
