THE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Completion of a formal training program in a related discipline from a recognized institute plus four years of directly related experience.
- Knowledge of university regulations, programs and procedures as they relate to the function/program is preferred.
- Knowledge of health system organization regulations, programs and procedures as they relate to the function/program is preferred.
- Good understanding of training electronic information systems that are more complex IE learning management systems or other information systems is preferred.
- Experience working in a First Nations, Métis and/or Inuit Healthcare setting is preferred
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, coordinate and establish work priorities and deadlines.
- Must be analytical, conscientious, organized, accurate and precise in work routine with demonstrated proficiency in related applied office and computer skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff and external partners
- Must have attention to detail to ensure records are accurate and compiled on time and be able to multi-task as required.
- Ability to provide advice, develop and present informational materials.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with various levels of internal and external contacts.
- Must be able to directly report to various supervisors who oversee their work and who will provide priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with various partners internal and external is required.
- Must understand, respect, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity with a well-developed sense of and attention to issues requiring discretion, confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible, adapt, prioritize, and proactively respond to emerging needs.
- Must be able to work independently and in an organized and productive manner.
- Must have the ability to take initiative and solve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound independent judgments and utilize problem-solving skills and abilities, within their area of responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to use MS Word programs at an advanced level for the purpose of statistical tracking and analysis, budgeting and word processing.
- Shall be able to draft a variety of presentations using presentation software (PowerPoint, Canva, Prezi etc.) for different audiences.
- With training, navigate two Learning Management Systems to enroll registrants and run reports as well as understand the WaitWell system.
- A satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
