The opportunity We are seeking a Culture and Experience Lead to join our Energy and Utilities business, playing a key role in shaping and strengthening culture, engagement and team effectiveness across the organisation. Reporting to the Senior Manager Learning and Development, this role partners closely with senior leaders to translate business strategy into meaningful culture and engagement initiatives that drive measurable outcomes. You will lead the development of insights across engagement, safety, performance and workforce data, using these to inform targeted interventions that improve team performance, retention and employee experience. This is a highly influential role where you will combine behavioural science, data driven insights and practical leadership capability solutions to enable sustained organisational change. You will work across a complex and matrixed environment, driving a consistent approach to culture while tailoring initiatives to operational needs.   What we’re looking for You are a commercially minded culture and engagement specialist who thrives on turning data into practical action. You bring strong experience working in large organisations and have a proven ability to influence leaders and embed behavioural change. Key requirements include * Demonstrated experience in culture, engagement or organisational development roles * Strong capability in analysing engagement, safety and workforce data to identify trends and root causes * Experience leading employee engagement surveys end to end including insights and action planning * Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leaders * Experience designing and delivering culture and behavioural initiatives in operational environments * Strong facilitation and coaching capability with ability to build leader effectiveness * Experience using psychometric tools such as DiSC, Hogan or similar * Proven track record working within complex or matrixed organisations * Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Psychology, Human Resources or a related discipline   What we offer At Downer, we support our people to thrive both professionally and personally.
