GENERAL DUTIES:

• Coordinates K–12 curriculum and instructional initiatives; provides staff training and development; supports data-driven planning and Human Resources functions, including FMLA.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Monitor the development of K-12 graded courses of study, adoption of instructional resources and material, and the selection of instructional supplies and equipment
• Directs the district professional development program and ensure its interrelationship with student achievement
• Collects and analyzes student performance data, work samples, and other relevant information to inform curriculum design and instructional practices
• Coordinates and monitors district wide systems for MTSS, PBIS, or SEL frameworks
• Provides support for local state and federal utilization of grants
• Provides leadership in the implementation of academic programs throughout the District
• Coordinates with Student Services, to design and implement innovative programs that address the needs of students with identified learning challenges and opportunities
• Supports identification processes, compliance, and academic programming for gifted students
• Coordinates and monitors compliance of Title IX requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
