Description

The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team of professionals as a full time Curriculum Assistant.
The Curriculum Assistant will assist the Licensed Child Care program team and the Senior Director to ensure that curriculum is supported, understood and followed at afterschool program sites.

SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office and online databased in order to track data
  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Ability to create curriculum based on standards set by Senior Director
    Pay Rate: $13 to $18/hour

Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating standardized curriculum
  • Keep curriculum warehouse stocked with necessary inventory as directed by supervisor and well labeled for organization
  • Assist with closing duties of the Staff Development Center/ Curriculum Warehouse
  • Assist in filling curriculum orders for sites according to site needs
  • Receive and organize deliveries (physical or electronic) from vendors and/or pick up supplies from vendors as needed
  • Assist in ensuring site assessments are completed as assigned
  • Upon request by Senior Director, Associate Executive Director, Executive Director and /or Vice President, visit sites and offer coaching and additional training to site staff
  • Flexibility to support the Licensed Childcare team when needed
  • Train staff in curriculum specific topics such as curriculum facilitation, curriculum supply shopping
