We are working on behalf of a well-established further education provider in Bromley to find an exceptional Director of English and Maths. This is a key senior post within the college’s leadership team, reporting directly to the Deputy Principal, with responsibility for leading curriculum innovation, teaching excellence, and student success across multiple sites.

• Leading the strategic development and innovation of English and maths delivery across campuses
• Managing and motivating a cross-site team, ensuring outstanding teaching, learning and assessment
• Delivering high-quality learner outcomes, positive progression routes, and career-readiness
• Shaping a curriculum aligned with local and national employer needs, including apprenticeships and adult learning
• Owning KPIs, curriculum growth planning, budget management and compliance with quality frameworks
• Championing continuous improvement in student experience, attendance, destination tracking and parental engagement
• Driving improvement in GCSE and Functional Skills delivery, both as standalone and embedded provision
• Liaising with stakeholders, awarding bodies and quality teams to ensure inspection readiness
