HMP & YOI Bronzefield is the largest women’s prison in Europe which accommodates a diverse and complex population of women from restricted Status women who require the highest levels of security, women on remand (Who are often experiencing custody for the first time), as well as supporting women with chronic mental health conditions.We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Curriculum Lead to join the Learning and Skills team at HMP Bronzefield. This role is central to driving forward the quality of education provision within the prison, ensuring that prisoners have access to opportunities that equip them with essential skills for a successful reintegration into the community. The Curriculum Lead plays a pivotal role in advancing the Learning & Skills Department by improving the quality of educational provision, while ensuring that challenging Service Delivery Targets are met each year. Reporting to the Education Manager, this role is critical at HMP Bronzefield, with a strong focus on providing prisoners with educational opportunities that help them develop skills and competencies to support their successful reintegration into society and reduce the risk of re-offending. The Curriculum Lead must be an expert practitioner in the classroom, capable of leading, training, and guiding curriculum tutors and peer workers towards outstanding performance.
