City College Plymouth is seeking an inspiring and experienced Curriculum Resources Manager to join our leadership team. In this pivotal role, you’ll help shape and support the delivery of our ambitious curriculum and skills strategy - making a real impact on students, staff, and the wider community.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Operations Officer, this pivotal role will facilitate curriculum planning, budgeting, and resource allocation across the College. You’ll be instrumental in enhancing curriculum efficiency, ensuring rigorous financial reporting, and shaping the development and delivery of our Business and Skills Planning process.

Working in close partnership with curriculum leaders, you’ll ensure resources are used effectively and aligned with strategic priorities, including:

  • growing our offer for 16-18 year olds in Devon and Cornwall
  • expanding high-quality Apprenticeships and T Levels
  • delivering impactful adult skills provision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate the annual Business and Skills Planning process.
  • Allocate and monitor curriculum budgets.
  • Produce detailed reports on course costing, staffing and room utilisation.
  • Analyse enrolment data and course viability throughout the year.
  • Manage permanent and sessional staffing budgets.
  • Monitor educational supplies and non-pay expenditures.
  • Support costing and funding for new course proposals.
  • Advise on funding changes and their impact on curriculum delivery.
  • Prepare reports for curriculum utilisation meetings and internal forecasts.
  • Contribute to the organisation of cross-College events such as enrolment.
