Location: Middlesbrough College Main Campus, TS2 1AD
Department: Health & Social Care, Childcare & Education, Nursing & Midwifery & Business
Reporting to: Associate Director of Curriculum and Quality - Social Care)
Annual Leave: 45 days per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays
Contractual hours: 37 hours per week
Basis: Full time, Fixed Term 12 months
Pension: Teachers Pension Scheme

Responsibilities

As a Curriculum Team Leader in English & Maths, you will:

  • Set a standard of academic excellence within the course team.
  • Oversee all operational management of the curriculum area.
  • Take responsibility for all aspects of team line management, including staff performance appraisals, monitoring, and professional development.
  • Provide guidance to staff in fulfilling their curriculum responsibilities across a range of innovative delivery models.
  • Lead the development of engaging and effective Schemes of Work.
  • Champion the use of ILT in curriculum delivery.
