Description

READY TO SHAPE THE FUTURE OF A LEVEL EDUCATION?

Are you passionate about leading teams, driving excellence, and inspiring the next generation of learners to achieve their full potential?
Oaklands College is seeking a Curriculum Team Manager (A Levels) to lead, develop, and deliver outstanding programmes within our thriving A Level faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to combine strategic leadership with hands-on teaching, ensuring that both staff and students excel.
As a Curriculum Team Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping a high-quality A Level curriculum that meets local and regional needs, prepares learners for further study and employment, and drives the college towards achieving its ambitious goals.

IS THIS YOU?

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated educator who can balance strategic vision with operational delivery. You’ll be someone who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for student success, and can lead by example.

You’ll bring:

  • A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (essential)
  • At least 2 years’ teaching experience in A Levels (or relevant subject area)
  • A track record of successful teaching across a range of levels
  • Experience using digital learning technologies to enhance teaching and learning
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage performance effectively
  • A sound understanding of Safeguarding, Prevent, equality and diversity
  • The ability to interpret data and influence decision-making

And personally, you’re:

  • A confident communicator — able to engage, motivate, and inspire both staff and learners
  • Professional, organised, and solution-focused
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the resilience to lead through change
  • Committed to raising standards and achieving excellence for every learner
